1. From the Test Families tab check the box next to the pre- or mid-test you have created and click Assign.
2. Choose the format you want your test sat in - one sitting or multiple, set the start and end date and time.
3. Choose to allow your students to view the results (note, results for one sitting tests are made available when the test expires, results for multiple sitting tests are available immediately).
4. Choose your Classes or assign to Students in a class. If you are assigning to individual student/s in a class, select the class, uncheck Select all students and click on a student's name to select it.
5. Click Assign.
Reset or reassign a test to an individual student
Teachers may need to reset or reassign a diagnostic test to an individual if they had technical disruptions or accidentally submitted before finishing.
1. Go to the Manage assigned tests / Assign follow-up work tab in the diagnostic area.
2. Toggle the arrow next to the name of the assigned test to show the details. Make sure the test has not expired and edit the expiry date if necessary.
3. Click on the name of the class.
4. Check the box next to the student and choose to reset - removing all responses, or reassign - to keep the responses they have already entered.
Force submit a student's test
If a student has started a diagnostic test but fails to submit it, the reporting for the test will show a 0% total score for that student. In these circumstances, teachers can force submit the student's test.
Go to the Manage assigned tests / Assign follow-up work tab in the diagnostic area.
Toggle the arrow next to the name of the assigned test to show the details.
Click on the name of the class.
Check the box next to the student(s) showing as Started and click Submit.
