Draw on past exam questions from the relevant state assessment authority to quickly create custom practice exams for your senior students with the exam generator tool.
Exams comprising of only multiple-choice questions can also be assigned online for auto-marking and reporting tools.

1. Select the Assessments icon from the left-hand margin
2. Click Create and choose Exam. To create a multiple choice only exam for online marking select Online. To create an exam with written answer and multiple choice questions select PDF. (WA Senior Maths users will have PDF auto-selected)
3. Give your exam a name from the top left of the page and select the Text, Area of Study or Topic using the drop-down options. Click the button to expand the selection of filters - filters will vary according to the state specific resource.
4. Changing any of these filters will automatically repopulate the question selection in the left-hand panel.
5. Your search results are populated in the left hand column and your draft exam will appear in the right hand column. To add a question to your draft exam, select the + next to the question. To add all questions from that page, select the + at the top of the column.
6. You can expand the view of a question with the ^ icon or delete with the X.
7. To reorder the questions on your exam, select this icon from the right-hand column:
8. From here, you can drag and drop questions to a different order, or preview them with the eye icon.
9. Once you are happy with your selection, save your exam from the top of the page.
10. After saving, you can download it as a Word document with this icon:
11. Go back to your Assessment bank and check the box next to the exam name. You can copy, edit, share (with another teacher in your school), archive, print or access the answers.

12. Online exams can also be assigned to multiple classes or group of individuals. These will be auto-marked with reporting available in the Reports tab of the Assessments area.
